Everywhere I go – I look around and there are NO RECYCLE bins anywhere. What if a company sold these to pay for the collection of it and then ran a promotion ”With every ten … sold, we’ll put a recycle bin on the street.”
Now I’m not sure how that works with the city, but I’m sure its a great way to get a tax break, maybe throw a logo on it…who knows? You’re helping the community, the environment, and doing your own advertising. : )
And that is what? All together now…
AWESOME!

I completely agree with this. It’s crazy that you don’t see more recycle bins around town. Especially in California. I thought we were a pretty green area. I was at the local Whole Foods and they have the best trash bins (did I just say that!?). They have so many options for recycling trash that it makes me feel like I’m making a difference. And another thing on recycle bins — I was at a mountain bike race and they had portable trash tents that, for some reason, were quite enticing. They were mini-tents that divided trash up, making it so easy to recycle! Simple concept with a cool, different execution (i.e. trash tent). No reason why you can’t market things on trash bins as long as they are cool bins!
